Smolna: Pan Pot

Pan-Pot is the Berlin-based duo of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, known for their powerful and distinctive approach to techno. Since meeting at Berlin’s SAE, they have developed a sound built around precise, driving grooves, dark atmospheres and a balance between peak-time energy and deeper electronic textures.

Their breakthrough came with the 2007 debut album Pan-O-Rama, featuring the standout track “Charly”. Releases such as “Confronted” and “Captain My Captain” further established their signature production style.

Beyond the studio, Pan-Pot have built an international reputation through extensive touring, performing at major clubs and festivals including Awakenings, Time Warp and Creamfields. Their sets move fluidly between techno, house and everything in between.

The duo also founded Second State, their own label and creative platform bringing together like-minded artists through music, events and other creative projects.
