Bad Boombox (real name Djeki) is a Berlin-based DJ and producer active since 2012, known for breaking genre boundaries and delivering high-energy sets. Born in Sofia, raised in the USA, and shaped by Berlin’s club culture, his sound is bold, colorful, and rebellious.
His 130–150 BPM sets blend techno, house, hard house, and trance with Latin percussion, g-house vocals, Balkan rhythms, 2000s tribal and hard house throwbacks. Moving between Hot House, Hard Beach, eurodance, hardgroove, and house fusion, he is a co-founder of Hot Meal Records and the mind behind tracks like Freak Up, Medulla, and Make It Wet. His mission: bring fun, color, and energy back to the dancefloor.
